Abstract:
This lens unit (40) provided in a subject detection device is provided with: a light-receiving lens (16) on which light reflected from the subject is incident; and a base (30) on which the light-receiving lens (16) is mounted. Lens support parts (18) are provided at end sections of the light-receiving lens (16). The lens support parts (18) are fixed to a separation wall (30w) of the base (30) via an adhesive (19) and support the light-receiving lens (16). In addition, the lens support parts (18) each have a stress absorbing section (18c) that absorbs the stress (particularly, shear stress) received due to the difference in thermal expansion between the light-receiving lens (16) and the base (30).
