Disclosed is a level instrument with a telescopic cover protection device, comprising a telescope, a level, a base, a support and a control device. The telescope comprises an eyepiece (2) and an object lens (3), wherein an end part of the eyepiece (2) and the object lens (3) are both provided with a telescopic protection cover on the inner side, the telescopic protection cover is divided into an upper cover and a lower cover which have the same structure, and the upper cover and the lower cover respectively comprise a plurality of telescopic plates. The level comprises a level pipe (4) and a circular level (5). The support comprises a top plate (9) and supporting rods (10), wherein the top plate (9) is connected to a lower base (7) via a connection screw (11), a supporting foot (12) is provided on a lower end of the supporting rod (10), and an anti-skid pattern is provided on a bottom surface of the supporting foot (12). The control device comprises a driving circuit and a motor (13). According to the level instrument with a telescopic cover protection device, a telescopic cover is additionally provided to prevent the lens of the eyepiece (2) and the object lens (3) from being contacted when in use and thus to avoid damage to the lenses, thereby lowering the damage rate and cost and prolonging the service life.
