Abstract:
A library device comprises: recording medium storage units which store at least a first recording medium, and a second recording medium which is an object of a take-out request; an accessor which, after taking out the first recording medium from the recording medium storage unit, takes out the second recording medium from the recording medium storage unit; an evacuation destination drive device which receives the first recording medium which is taken out by the accessor; a take-out destination drive device which brings in the second recording medium which is conveyed by the accessor; and an operation interrupt control unit which carries out a control which interrupts an operation wherein the second recording medium which is taken in by the evacuation destination drive device is brought in by the evacuation destination drive device.
