Abstract:
An aspect of this light conversion device includes a holding section, a wavelength conversion section, and an optical element. The holding section holds an emission unit emitting excitation light. The wavelength conversion section includes an incident surface portion having a protruding shape and on which the excitation light from the emission section is incident. The wavelength conversion section emits fluorescent light in response to the excitation light incident on the incident surface portion. The optical element includes a focus surrounded by the incident surface portion, and guides, in a predetermined direction, the fluorescent light emitted by the wavelength conversion section.
