Abstract:

The light emitting device disclosed in the present application is provided with: a light emitting layer; a diffraction grating structure that includes a diffraction grating; and a diffusion layer having a structure in which light transmitted from one surface to another surface is diffused. The center wavelength of light output by the light emitting layer is λ, and the period ρ for the diffraction grating is 1.0λ - 3.5λ. The diffusion layer has a haze of 80% or greater and total light transmittance of 80% or less.
