Abstract:
This lighting circuit (400) comprises a current source (410) and a thermal sensing element (402). The thermal sensing element (402) senses the temperature (T) of a semiconductor light source (302). The current source (410) generates a drive current (ILED) that shows a positive correlation with the temperature (T) when the temperature (T) is in a normal range and that shows a negative correlation with the temperature (T) when the temperature (T) falls within a temperature range higher than the normal range.
