Abstract:

A lighting device comprises a lighting circuit, a modulated-light signal circuit (RSFF1) and a feed-forward control circuit (FF). The lighting circuit receives, as an input thereof, an output (VDC) obtained by rectifying and smoothing a commercial power (Vin) and supplies a power to a light source (Lamp 1). The modulated-light signal circuit (RSFF1) supplies to the lighting circuit a timing signal for periodically switching between on-state and off-state (or dimmed-light state) of the output of the lighting circuit. The feed-forward control circuit (FF) determines the input voltage of the lighting circuit or the input voltage of the smoothing circuit and sends to the modulated-light signal circuit a control signal for correcting the lighting time such that the light output of the light source exhibits a desired value.
