Disclosed is a liquid crystal cell, comprising a first substrate (10), a second substrate (20), and a liquid crystal layer (30) arranged between the first substrate (10) and the second substrate (20). The first substrate (10) comprises: a first base (100), and an electrochromic layer (101) arranged on one side of the first base (100). The second substrate (20) comprises: a second base (200), and a plurality of spacers (201) which are arranged on the side of the second base (200) close to the first substrate (10) at intervals, wherein the orthographic projection, on the first base (100), of at least one spacer (201) from among the plurality of spacers (201) arranged at intervals is located in the range of the orthographic projection of the electrochromic layer (101) on the first base (100).
