Abstract:
Provided is a liquid crystal display panel which can ensure evenness of display in an entire display region without unevenness in cell thickness by uniformizing the distance between substrates inside and outside a sealing member, and a liquid crystal display comprising the same. In the liquid crystal display panel, a thin film transistor substrate and an opposed substrate which is opposed thereto are bonded to each other with the sealing member, a liquid crystal layer is held inside a region surrounded by the sealing member, and spacers are disposed inside and outside the region surrounded by the sealing member. In the thin film transistor substrate, the thicknesses of panel forming materials disposed in regions superimposed on the spacers are substantially equal inside and outside the region surrounded by the sealing member.
