Abstract:
A liquid developing electrophotographic apparatus in which a toner image is formed on a photosensitive body (2) by sticking toner to an electrostatic latent image formed on the photosensitive body (2) with an electric field force using a nonvolatile liquid developer. A viscoelasticity control means controls the viscoelasticity of the toner image transferred from the photosensitive body (2) onto an intermediate transfer body (3). The temperature of a liquid toner satisfying specified conditions on the viscoelastic dynamic measurement value is measured previously so that the viscoelasticity control means satisfies the conditions on viscoelastic dynamic measurement value, and a heater (4) or a heating means is subjected to heating control in order that the temperature of the toner may be the one satisfying the temperature before the toner image on the intermediate transfer body (3) is transferred to a print medium (6). A reverse rotation carrier agent removing roller (7) removes the carrier agent from the toner image subjected to viscoelasticity control.
