Abstract:
A lithium ion battery separator, comprising a porous base membrane and a heat resistant layer covering the surface of at least one side of the porous base membrane, the heat resistant layer containing a heat resistant polymer and inorganic nanoparticles, and the heat resistant layer having a fibrous mesh structure. Also disclosed is a preparation method for the lithium ion battery separator, and a lithium ion battery comprising the battery separator. The preparation method for the present lithium ion battery separator is simple, and the obtained lithium ion battery separator is flexible, stable under high temperatures, and has a low rate of thermal contraction and good mechanical strength in high temperatures.
