Abstract:
The present invention relates to a lithium metal composite oxide having a plurality of secondary particles that are the aggregates of primary particles, wherein: at least a portion of the secondary particles has voids therein; with respect to the contour shape of the voids exposed in the cross-section of the secondary particles having voids therein, the area-weighted average value of the aspect ratio of voids having a circle-equivalent diameter of 0.2 μm or more is 1.8-5.0; and the ratio of the number of secondary particles having therein voids having a circle-equivalent diameter of 0.5 μm or more with respect to the total number of the secondary particles is 3-95%.
