Abstract:
Provided is a lithium secondary battery charging method, comprising: starting from Ic1, charging the battery at a constant current in sequence with a set current value; when charging with any current Ici, stopping the charging once the voltage reaches a corresponding Vi, and then constant current charging is conducted with a current Ici+1 until a cutoff voltage Vn is reached by charging with a current Icn. {Ic1,…, Ici,Ici+1,…,Icn} is a preset set of sequentially decreasing current values, and {V1,…,Vi,Vi+1,…,Vn} is a set of voltage values respectively corresponding to the current values. Vi≤Vi+1≤Vn, I0≥Icn≥I1. If it is determined that Icn is equal to I1, then the charging is ended; and if it is determined that Icn is greater than I1, the constant voltage charging is conducted with a voltage Vn until the current reaches I1, and then the charging is ended. The method can not only improve lithium precipitation of battery, but also improve charging speed of battery.
