Abstract:
The present application discloses a location information sending apparatus and method. The location information sending apparatus comprises: a call module and a positioning module; wherein the call module is configured to send location acquisition information to the positioning module in the case where an electronic device receives a request message for initiating an emergency call, the location acquisition information being used for requesting for the acquisition of the current location of the electronic device; the positioning module is configured to acquire the current location of the electronic device according to the location acquisition information, and send first location information to the call module, the first location information being information of the current location of the electronic device; and the call module is further configured to carry the first location information in a target SIP message and send same to a server.
