Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2024/080959
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A packaging (10) having a first lock mechanism (11) used for the transport and storage of food products, which ensures that the products remain without spoilage for a long time, characterized by comprising at least one second lock mechanism (12) except for the first lock mechanism (11) in the upper part, which is placed on the packaging (10) so as to remain below the first lock mechanism (11), ensures that the products in the packaging (10) remain without stale for a long time after cutting off the excess remaining in the upper part so that the diminishing products can be easily taken from the bottom of the packaging (10).

Description:
LOCKED PACKAGING WITH AT LEAST TWO LOCKING MECHANISMS

Technical Field

The invention relates to packages and/or packs made of plastics such as PET, ALU, PE, CPP, OPP, matt OPP, OPA, KRAFT paper, metPET, biodegradable light metal, paper and similar materials and used for storing powdered or granulated finished or semi-finished food and industrial products.

The invention particularly relates to locking mechanisms for horizontally or vertically storable packaging made of the aforementioned materials.

Prior Art

Nowadays, there are many packages and packs made of plastic, biodegradable materials, light metal, paper and similar materials used for transporting, protecting, storing and selling the products to the consumer. These packages and packs have different features and models according to the nature, type, size and sensitivity of the product stored inside. Locking mechanisms have been developed so that the product inside these packages can be used for a long time after opening without stale.

The locking mechanisms used in the prior art are located at the top of the package. This makes it difficult to remove the product at the bottom when the product in the pack is low, as the package size does not change. This is an unwanted situation in terms of consumer ease of use.

In the prior art, if the excess part of the package or pack is folded or cut, the system used for locking purposes is deactivated. This makes it difficult to fulfil the storage conditions of the product contained in the package or pack.

As a result of the research conducted in the literature, various embodiments related to zip lock bags have been found. One of these is a utility model with application number TR2005/00724, titled "Innovations in zip lock bags". In the abstract of the invention with classification class B65D, it is stated as follows: "The reinforced hanging zip lock bag made of polyethylene raw material, which aims to provide a functional convenience to the user during the packaging, storage and display of any sectoral product, consists of one piece and 4 parts. It is aimed to be produced in the factory environment at one time in order to provide the packaging + hanger element functions of the reinforced hanger lock bag, in which the product is placed to be stored or exhibited, and it is ensured that the product has a striking packaging due to the fact that printing and printed labels can be applied to the ear part for painting or advertising purposes."

Other examples of the aforementioned embodiment are as follows: US20040131731A1 , US20060165317A1 , US20110293208A1 , EP0648687A1 refer to improvements made for locking the mouth of the pouch.

None of the aforementioned embodiments provide long term preservation of the product remaining in the pouch after the pouch is cut in half. Therefore, these embodiments can be shown as examples of some of the disadvantages mentioned above.

As a result, improvements are being made in packaging locking mechanisms in parallel with the developing technology, therefore, there is a need for new structures that will eliminate the disadvantages mentioned above and bring solutions to existing systems.

Object of the Invention

The invention relates to packaging locking mechanisms which, unlike the embodiments used in the prior art, have been developed to overcome the disadvantages mentioned, and which offer certain additional advantages.

The object of the invention is to ensure that the empty parts of the package are cut as the product in the packaging decreases and the products remaining at the bottom of the bag can be easily removed. By means of the second locking mechanism, after the empty part is cut, the package has a locking mechanism again and the products can be stored for a long time.

The purpose of the invention is to enable the packaging to be used in a sealed manner until the product in the packaging is finished.

The structural characteristics and all advantages of the invention will be more clearly understood by means of the figures given below and the detailed description written by making references to these figures. Therefore, the evaluation should be made by taking these figures and detailed description into consideration.

Detailed Description of an Example of the Invention

In this detailed description, preferred embodiments of the inventive packaging (10) are described solely for the purpose of a better understanding of the subject matter and without any limiting effect. Principle of structure:

The packaging (10) comprises a first lock mechanism (11) and a second lock mechanism (12). The packaging (10) is a pack body in which various materials are placed. The first lock mechanism (11) is, as in the prior art, a lock structure located at the top of the packaging (10), which ensures that the package (10) is tightly closed after opening. The second lock mechanism (12) is a locking structure having the same structure as the first locking mechanism, which is placed in the center of the packaging (10).

The second lock mechanism (12) is not locked when the said packaging (10) is being filled. After filling, only the first lock mechanism (11) is locked and presented for sale in that way. After the customer receives the packaging (10), the customer starts to use the product inside by opening the first lock mechanism (11). After a while, the customer cuts off half of the packaging, i.e., the upper part, after the product goes under the second lock mechanism (12). In this way, since the length of the packaging (10) will be shortened, the products remaining at the bottom of the packaging (10) can be easily taken. After the packaging (10) cut in half, the second lock mechanism (12) is started to be used. In this way, it is ensured that the products remaining after half are used for a long time without stale.
