Abstract:
Long-range radio-frequency identification system, used to identify persons (1) located in different identification areas (4), comprising, in each identification area (4), an activation device (3) comprising an activation circuit (5) connected to an antenna (6), that transmits an activation signal at frequency f0; an active transponder (2) carried by each person to be identified with a microcontroller, a radio transmitter at frequency f1 and a radio receiver at frequency f0; each transponder (2) having a unique identifier IDTR and being configured to receive the activation signal and transmit a message in reply, at frequency f1, with the identifier IDTR; a receiver (7) for receiving the reply messages from the transponders (2) and sending the information contained in the messages to a control unit (9); a control unit (9) connected to the receiver (7), which receives the data sent by the latter and manages the identification system.
