Title:
MANGANESE-ZINC FERRITE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2022/014218
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a MnZn ferrite having both the superior mechanical property of a fracture toughness value, in a flat plate-like core, of 1.10 MPa•m1/2 or greater as measured in accordance with JIS R1607, and the excellent magnetic property, of a loss value of 450 kW/m3 or less at 100ºC, 300 kHz, and 100 mT, in a toroidal core fabricated under the same conditions. The MnZn ferrite comprises basic components, auxiliary components, and unavoidable impurities. The respective contents of P, B, Na, Mg, Al and K in the unavoidable impurities are suppressed such that P is less than 10 ppm by mass, B is less than 10 ppm by mass, Na is less than 200 ppm by mass, Mg is less than 200 ppm by mass, Al is less than 250 ppm by mass, and K is less than 100 ppm by mass.
