Abstract:
The aim of the invention is to increase the ease of use and control. A means of transport operated by the rider's muscle power comprises: a base designed in two sections, namely, a front section (1) and a rear section (2), the two being connected via a shock absorber (3). On the front section (1) of the base are fitted the following: a bicycle drive comprising a carrier (4) with two cranks (5) and pedals (6), drive sprockets (7), a ratchet system with driven sprockets (8), a chain (9), front (10) and rear (11) gear change mechanism, struts (12) to brace the front wheels, a seat (13), a steering mechanism and housing (14) for the distributor mechanisms. Inside the housing (14) is fitted the drive shaft (17) and inside the shaft are two sleeve inserts (18). At the ends of the struts (12) are fitted brackets (19) on each of which is fixed a hollow semiaxle (21) so as to pivot, a wheel being mounted on bearings (22) on the semiaxle. The wheel drive (26) is mounted on bearings (25) inside the semiaxle (21). The inner extremity of the drive (26) is connected to the sleeve inserts (18) in the distributor member via a twin hinged coupling (28).
