Abstract:
An object of the invention is measuring tape with spirit level, including the flexible tape with scale, coiled spirally in the housing, equipped with coiling spring mechanism and blocking device, whereas the level is located on the measuring tape. The tape is characterized in that to the basic tape (2), spirally coiled on the basic reel (3) of the basic toothed wheel (4), the guiding tape (5) is moveably fixed and coiled on the guiding reel (6) of the guiding toothed wheel (7). At the end of guiding tape (5), the level (8) is fixed, whereas the guiding toothed wheel (7) is connected to the basic toothed wheel (4) through the third wheel (9). The reference diameter of the basic toothed wheel (4) is equal the reference diameter of the guiding toothed wheel (7). The ratio of diameter (D3) of the basic reel (3) to the diameter (D6) of the guiding reel (6) is in the range of 1,5 to 2,5, so, that the end of guiding tape (5) is always located inside the segment measured, advantageously in the middle of its length.

Claims:
Measuring tape with spirit level, including the flexible tape with scale, coiled spirally inside the housing, equipped with coiling spring mechanism and blocking device, at the same time the level is located on the measuring tape, characterized in that to the basic tape (2), spirally coiled on the basic reel (3) of the basic toothed wheel (4), the guiding tape (5) is moveably fixed and coiled on the guiding reel (6) of the guiding toothed wheel (7), at the same time at the end of guiding tape (5) the level (8) is fixed, whereas the guiding toothed wheel (7) is connected to the basic toothed wheel (4) through the third wheel (9), whereas the reference diameter of the basic toothed wheel (4) is equal the reference diameter of the guiding toothed wheel (7), whereas the ratio of the diameter (D3) of the basic reel (3) to the diameter (D6) of the guiding reel (6) is in the range of 1,5 to 2,5, so, that the end of guiding tape (5) is always located inside the segment measured, advantageously in the midle of his length.Tape according to claim

Tape accoridng to claim 1, characterized in that the level (8) is located disjointly on the sliding grip (11), fixed to the guiding tape (5). Tape according to claim 3, characterized in that the level (8) is located perpendicularly to the axis os basic tape (2). Tape according to claim 1, characterized in that the width (a) of the end dog (12) of the basic tape (2) is equall to the thickness (g) of the housing (1). Tape according to claim 1, characterized in that the basic reel (3) is connected to the guiding reel (6) through the belt transmission, advantageously furnished with flexible belt.
Description:
Measuring tape with spirit level Object of the invention is measuring tape with spirit level. , used for indication of horizontal segments during assembly works ; combining functions of measuring tape and traditional level in wooden or metal housing.

In general, measuring tapes with flexible scaled tape are known, coiled in the case, equipped with coiling spring mechanism and blocking device. Levels or systems of levels are most often located on planes perpendicular and/or paralell to the ground.

There is tape blade level known from the American patent description No 6 094 833.

A tape blade level that includes a housing that has an attaching means that secures the level to a tape measure blade. The attaching means includes an arcuate opening that conforms in shape to a typical tape measure blade. The opening is constructed in such a manner that the device can also be readily affixed to a string line. The housing allows the level vial bubble to be viewed from both the front and the rear of the level.

There is a tape with level vial and light beam known from the European patent description No EP 0 977 007. A measuring device includes a housing, a distance measuring apparatus carried on the housing, one or more housing orientation indicators and a focused light beam source. Using the housing orientation indicators, the housing can be properly oriented so that a focused light beam emitted by the focused light beam source will illuminate a point on a remote surface to accurately transfer the position of the housing to the remote surface.

Measuring tape with spirit level, according to the invention, features the basic tape, spirally coiled on the basic reel of the basic toothed wheel, with the sliding guiding tape, coiled on the guiding reel of the guiding toothed wheel. There is the level, fixed on the end of guiding tape. The guiding toothed wheel is connected through the third wheel with the basic wheel. The reference diameter of the basic toothed wheel is equal to the reference diameter of the guiding toothed wheel.

The ratio of the diameter of the basic reel to the diameter of the guiding reel is in the range of 1,5 to 2,5, so, that the end of guiding tape is always located inside the segment measured, advantageously in the midle of his length.

The third wheel is equipped with the lifted switch, when the basic tape is used as traditional measuring tape only.

The level is located disjointly, on the sliding grip, connected to the guiding tape. The level can be located paralelly to perpedicularly to the axis of basic tape. Width of the end dog of basic tape is equal to the thickness of the housing.

On the basic toothed wheel, known coiling mechanism is located, which can be also located on the guiding toothed wheel, whereas on the front of housing blocking device is fixed.

The basic reel can be also connected to the guiding reel through the belt transmission, advantageously furnished with flexible belt.

Measuring tape with the spirit level, according to the invention, allows for quick and convenient levelling of the segment measured. Thanks to the use of appropriate transmission ratio, the level fixed at the end of guiding tape, is practically always located in the middle of the segment measured. It assures the accuracy of level indication and eliminates the need for big and unconvenient traditional levels. Thanks to the possibility of turning the level by 90° in relation to the basic tape, the tape can be used for indication of vertical lines. Function of switching the third wheel off, allows for location of the level in any place on the segment measured as well as for using the tape the traditional way. The tape can be also used for indication of level by flat surfaces, thanks to adaptation of housing thickness to the width of end dog.

The invention is presented on the drawing, where fig. 1 shows the measuring tape in the isometric view, fig. 2-the measuring tape in the top view, fig. 3-end view of the measuring tape, fig. 4-segment of the tape ruled out, in the side view, with the level turned.

Inside the housing 1, to the basic tape 2, spirally coiled on the basic reel 3 of the basic toothed wheel 4, the guiding tape 5 is moveably fixed and coiled on the guiding reel 6 of the guiding toothed wheel 7. At the end of guiding tape 5, the level 9 is fixed, whereas the guiding toothed wheel 7 is connected to the basic toothed wheel 4 through the third wheel 9. The reference diameter of the basic toothed wheel 4 is equal to the reference diameter of the guiding toothed wheel 7, whereas the ratio of the diameter D3 of the basic reel 3 to the diameter D6 of the guiding reel 6 is in the range of 1,5 to 2,5, so, that the end of guiding tape 5 is always located inside the segment measured, advantageously in the midle of his length.

The third wheel 9 is equipped with lifted switch 10. The level 9 can located paralelly or perpedicularly to the basic tape 2.

The level 9 is located disjointly on the sliding grip 11, fixed to the guiding tape 5. The width of the end dog 12, of the basic tape 2 is equall to the thickness g of the housing 1.

On the basic toothed wheel 4, known coiling mechanism is located, which can be also located on the guiding toothed wheel 7, whereas on the front of housing 1 blocking device 13 is fixed.
