Abstract:
In order to handle a number of types of media without replacing components, a banknote storage (16) attached to a banknote dispensing/accepting machine (10) of an automated teller machine (1) comprises right and left side guide portions (33) in which upper and lower linkage shafts (64) of an inclined side guide (60) are inserted in linkage holes (76) and (79) of a width side guide (70). In this way, the side guide portions (33) can cause the inclined side guide (60) to rotate in conjunction with a movement of the width side guide (70) in right or left direction with respect to a side frame (50). As a result, the banknote storage (16) can have the width of a storage space (30SC) modified without replacing components so as to handle banknotes with different long-side lengths.
