Abstract:
Disclosed is a membrane electrode structure for a fuel cell, comprising a first structure layer with a thickness of 25-300 microns, a first catalyst layer disposed above the first structure layer, a perfluorosulfonic acid proton exchange membrane disposed above the first catalyst layer, and a second catalyst layer disposed above the perfluorosulfonic acid proton exchange membrane, wherein the thicknesses of the first catalyst layer and the second catalyst layer are respectively 1-50 microns; and the layers are combined to form the membrane electrode structure. The advantages of the present invention lie in that by directly forming a film with the perfluorosulfonic acid resin PFSA on the surface of a catalytic layer, the proton transfer resistance between the interfaces of the catalytic layer and the proton exchange membrane is reduced, and the water transfer capacity between the catalytic layer and the proton exchange membrane is enhanced, such that the proton exchange membrane can be better wetted during battery operations; and by incorporating the preparation process of the proton exchange membrane into the preparation process of the membrane electrode, the preparation period is shortened.
