Abstract:
A method and apparatus for determining a pre-coding matrix. The method comprises: a terminal determining a pre-coding matrix, wherein the pre-coding matrix comprises at least two column vector sets, a column vector associated with any one column vector set of the at least two column vector sets exists in the at least two column vector sets, and any one column vector set and the associated column vector both act on different polarized antennas; the terminal determining a first pre-coding matrix indication (PMI) and a second PMI according to the pre-coding matrix; and the terminal sending the first PMI and the second PMI to a base station. In this solution, for different polarized antennas, different column vectors are used to act on same, thus solving the defect in the prior art that the beam coverage performance is unbalanced.
