Abstract:
The present invention relates to a technology for allowing a user, in an online sports game in which a game is played by operating a team, to change the squad of a team that the user has or to participate in an auction even when the user does not execute a game through the user terminal in which a game client is installed. The method for providing an online sports game squad and auction includes the steps of: forming a squad setting page for allowing access to a squad providing device regardless of whether a game client is installed in the user terminal and to set the respective positions of a plurality of characters included in a team operated by the user according to a selected formation; displaying the squad setting page having a preset squad displayed thereon on the user terminal when the user terminal accesses the squad setting page; receiving formation and position information on each of the plurality of characters from the user terminal to create a squad for the team that the user has; and, when the user terminal terminates the connection to the squad setting page, transmitting the set squad to a game server providing a game service in order to set the squad, which is set to enable the user to play with same, as a game user's squad when the user accesses the game server by using the user terminal in which the game client is installed.
