Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and apparatus for transmitting information, relating to the technical field of communications and facilitating realising the full potential of the advantage of a low PAPR of a single carrier. The method comprises: generating an OFDM symbol, wherein the OFDM symbol comprises a pi/2 BPSK modulated data signal and a pi/2 BPSK modulated PTRS; and sending the OFDM symbol. The present application is applicable in an uplink single-carrier transmission scenario, and is also applicable in a downlink single-carrier transmission scenario.
