Abstract:
Provided are a method and apparatus for transmitting and monitoring secondary component carrier configuration information, a base station and a terminal. The method for transmitting secondary component carrier configuration information comprises: determining secondary component carrier (SCC) configuration information, wherein the SCC configuration information is used for instructing the deactivation or activation of the secondary component carrier; generating a target physical-layer signal according to the SCC configuration information; and sending the SCC configuration information to a terminal by means of the target physical-layer signal, so that the terminal determines whether to monitor physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) information on the SCC according to the SCC configuration information. By means of the method for transmitting secondary component carrier configuration information provided in the present disclosure, the SCC deactivation/activation instruction information is transmitted through the physical-layer signal, so that the transmission duration of the SCC configuration information can be reduced, and a deactivation/activation mechanism of the SCC can be implemented more dynamically and flexibly.
