Abstract:
A method of authenticating an onboard terminal and an authentication server are disclosed. The method may comprise: an authentication server receives an authentication request from an onboard terminal, and determines whether to authenticate; upon authentication, the authentication server sends a token to the onboard terminal, allowing said terminal to obtain permission to access an information acquisition server, and then notifies the information acquisition server that the terminal has been granted access. In the present invention, onboard terminal access to the information acquisition server is greatly facilitated, thus saving a large amount of network resources, and thereby facilitating concurrent access by large numbers of users.
