Provided is a method for cleaning range hood mesh parts using a dishwasher. The present invention aims to solve the problem that range hood mesh parts are inconvenient to wash and the spray cleaning effect is not ideal during washing using a dishwasher. For this purpose, the dishwasher comprises a washing portion, a liquid driving portion, and a heating portion; the washing portion is sequentially provided with, from top to bottom, an upper spray arm (1), a middle spray arm (2), and a lower spray arm (3) that are all communicated with the liquid driving portion; the top and bottom of the middle spray arm (2) are provided with spray portions; the part of the washing portion located between the upper spray arm (1) and the middle spray arm (2) is an upper washing area, and the part of the washing portion located between the lower spray arm (3) and the middle spray arm (2) is a lower washing area; range hood mesh parts are placed in the lower washing area. The method comprises the following steps: a washing step (S02), a rinsing step (S03), a disinfection step (S04), and a drying step (S05). The oil stains on range hood mesh parts having greasy oil stains such as an oil screen can be effectively cleaned, thereby eliminating the trouble of manual cleaning.
