Title:
METHOD FOR CONTINUOUSLY PRODUCING METAL NANOPARTICLES
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/025837
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for continuously producing metal nanoparticles having an average particle diameter of from 1 nm to 200 nm (inclusive), which is characterized by comprising a reaction step wherein a starting material composition containing (a) an alkyl amine, (b) an organic solvent and (c) a metal compound that is decomposed when heated and produces an elemental metal or an alloy is continuously introduced into a reaction container and a thermal decomposition reaction of the metal compound (c) is caused to proceed in the reaction container. According to the method of the present invention, leakage of the reaction liquid from the reaction container due to generation of a large amount of a carbon dioxide gas can be prevented, thereby enabling commercially efficient and safe production of the metal nanoparticles at low cost, while suppressing impact on the environment. In addition, metal nanoparticles having relatively large particle diameters and good dispersibility can be obtained by using the above-described starting material composition.
