Abstract:
The invention provides a method of controlling an elderly smart television, system, and smart television. The method comprises: detecting, after a smart television is turned on, whether a current application mode is an elderly application mode, wherein a main interface in the elderly application mode comprises a function table containing a television function and an online video function; if so, starting a synchronization signal detection function, detecting a signal input into the smart television, providing a selectable playback tag to a video type corresponding to the detected signal and in the function table of the television function, while connecting to a network automatically, and storing, after the network is successfully connected, according to a preconfigured video type, to a sub-function table of an online video function, a video playback web address corresponding to the video type. The embodiment implements selection for elderly to easily select from a main interface a function corresponding to television and online videos, and overcomes the problem of a complex operation of a smart television, providing convenience of using the smart television to elderly.
