Abstract:
Provided are a method and device for estimating the GPS coordinates of multiple target objects and tracking the target objects on the basis of camera image information from an unmanned aerial vehicle according to an embodiment. The device comprises: a detection unit that, through a pre-trained artificial intelligence deep learning model, detects an object corresponding to an assignment set in the unmanned aerial vehicle, and generates a bounding box including the detected target object according to the size of the target object; a setting unit that sets a reference pixel that is a target point represented as a pixel on a camera image plane; a calculation unit that calculates reference pixel coordinates of the target object in a two-dimensional pixel coordinate system; and a conversion unit that converts the reference pixel coordinates of the target object into three-dimensional coordinates by using at least one of altitude information about the unmanned aerial vehicle or depth information about the target object, and converts the coordinate system of the converted three-dimensional coordinates to acquire the GPS coordinates of the target object.
