Abstract:
A method for providing a surgical image is provided. The method comprises the steps of: obtaining an actual surgical image of a current view comprising an arm of a surgical instrument; determining whether or not there is an area inside the body which is hidden behind the arm of the surgical instrument in the actual surgical image of the current view and obtaining an actual surgical image of a view preceding the current view; extracting a corresponding area corresponding to the area inside the body from the actual surgical image of the preceding view; and restoring the area inside the body by removing the arm of the surgical instrument from the actual surgical image of the current view on the basis of the extracted corresponding area.
