Abstract:

Provided in the present invention are a method and device for reporting and acquiring a terminal capability. The reporting method comprises: a terminal reports to a base station indication information used for indicating that the terminal has a dual-link support capability. Employment of the described technical solution provided in the present invention and employment of the technical means in which a terminal reports to a base station indication information used for indicating that the terminal has a dual-link support capability solve the technical problem in the related art that the base station is incapable of learning that the terminal has the dual-link support capability, thus allowing the base station to configure a suitable dual-link for the terminal on the basis of the dual-link capability of the terminal, and enhancing user experience.
