Abstract:
A method and a device for speed dial are provided. The method includes the following steps: receiving user key-press information; reading the speed dial file in the subscriber identity module card; analyzing the dialing information in the speed dial file and the key value information corresponding to the dialing information; if the key value of the user key-press information exists in the key value information corresponding to the analyzed dialing information, performing a call according to the dialing information. The embodiment of the invention enables a terminal to realize the general speed dial function among different handsets by setting the speed dial file in the subscriber identity module card and reading the speed dial information in the file, thus facilitates the user to use.
