Abstract:
Providing is a method for evaluating the thermoplastic properties of coal or a binding material using a device provided with a container housing coal and a stirring element disposed within the container, wherein a value indicating the shape of semi-coke formed by rotating the stirring element while heating the coal or binding material and a correspondence relationship between the value indicating the shape of the semi-coke and the permeation distance of the coal or binding material are used to estimate the permeation distance of the coal or binding material.
