Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for producing metal-containing particles, the method comprising: a first step for preparing a porous carbon material having pores within which a metal-containing precursor is applied, the metal-containing precursor generating an oxidizing gas when decomposed; and a second step for subjecting the prepared porous carbon material to heat treatment at a temperature equal to or higher than the decomposition temperature of the metal-containing precursor under an oxidizing atmosphere, thereby forming particles from the metal-containing precursor by using the pores of the porous carbon material as a mold, and simultaneously removing the carbon material. In the method for producing metal-containing particles according to the present invention, metal-containing particles can be formed and simultaneously a carbon material support can be effectively removed through a low-temperature heat treatment while the pores of the carbon material support are used as a mold. Also, in the method for producing metal-containing particles according to the present invention, since the carbon material support is removed by the low-temperature heat treatment, high-purity nanoparticles can be produced through a simple process while sintering of the nanoparticles and a chemical reaction between the nanoparticles and the carbon material support can be avoided.
