Abstract:
This method for forming a multi-layer coating film includes: a step for coating a to-be-coated object with a coloring coating material (W) to form a colored coating film; a step for forming a brilliant first base coating film by applying a brilliant pigment dispersion (X) which contains a brilliant pigment (x2) and in which the content of the brilliant pigment (x2) in the brilliant pigment dispersion (X) is 15-80 parts by mass on the basis of 100 parts by mass of total solid content in the brilliant pigment dispersion (X); a step for forming a transparent colored second base coating film by applying a transparent coloring second base coating material (Y) containing a coloring pigment (y2); and a step for forming a clear coating film by applying a clear coating material (Z) containing a hydroxyl group-containing acrylic resin (z1) and an aliphatic triisocyanate compound (z2-1) having a molecular weight of 200-350.
