Abstract:
Provided is a method for heating a roller bearing retainer, with which it is possible to heat the entire retainer to a uniform temperature suitable for a crosslinking reaction in a fluorine resin, and an irradiation window foil is not degraded. In this heating method a heating fixture (11) is inserted into the inner diameter part (6) of a roller bearing retainer (1), and heating is performed. The heating fixture (11) is equipped with a securing fixture (8) that secures the roller bearing retainer (1) from the inner diameter side, a heat source that heats this securing fixture (8), and a control device (10) that controls this heat source (9). At less than the target heating temperature range for heating the roller bearing retainer (1) a gap exists between the heating fixture (11) and the roller bearing retainer (1), and in the target heating temperature range the heating fixture (11) engages the inner diameter part of the roller bearing retainer.
