Abstract:
The present application relates to a method for manufacturing hollow metal nanoparticles and the hollow metal nanoparticles manufactured thereby, and, more specifically, to a hollow metal nanoparticle manufacturing method comprising the steps of: preparing a solution including a first metal salt, a second metal salt, a stabilizing agent, and a solvent; and forming hollow metal nanoparticles by mixing the solution and a reducing agent. The hollow metal nanoparticles manufactured by the manufacturing method of the present invention have a very small size and a larger specific surface area, as compared to conventional nanoparticles, and thus can show superior activity to the conventional nanoparticles and can be used in various fields such as a drug delivery carrier and a gas sensor.
