Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a pellet according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: recovering and preparing dust generated during a ferronickel manufacturing process; manufacturing a binder using first slag which is slag generated during the ferronickel manufacturing process, and a by-product generated in a process other than the ferronickel manufacturing process; and manufacturing a pellet by mixing and assembling the dust and the binder. Therefore, by the method for manufacturing a pellet according to the embodiments of the present invention, it is possible to manufacture a binder at a cost lower than conventional methods. In addition, when a pellet, which is a raw material for manufacturing ferronickel, is manufactured by using the binder according to the embodiments, a pellet having similar strength or improved strength compared to a pellet manufactured using a conventional binder may be manufactured.
