Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a powder for a diamond tool is provided. The method comprises the steps of: preparing an iron powder containing carbon and a metal compound powder; and manufacturing an alloy powder by mixing the iron powder and the metal compound powder, and then carrying out mechanical alloying, wherein the alloy powder comprises a layered plate structure formed from the iron contained in the iron powder, and the metal compound powder interposed between the plate structures, and there is a crystal defect inside the plate structure.
