Title:
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SLIDING MATERIAL FOR WEATHER STRIP
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/052029
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a sliding material for a weather strip, the sliding material having good sliding properties and having a low frictional coefficient, sliding resistance, abrasion loss, etc. Through the present invention, a sliding material for a weather strip comprising an olefinic TPV in which PE particles are dispersed is manufactured by loading a twin-screw extruder with PP, uncrosslinked EPDM, and PE particles and dynamically crosslinking the EPDM while melt-kneading the mixture. The blended amount of PE particles is 10-90 parts by mass with respect to the combined total of 100 parts by mass of PP and EPDM. The PE particles have an average particle diameter of 30-200 µm prior to loading, and are micronized by the melt-kneading, and preferably have an average particle diameter of 10-50 µm in the manufactured sliding material for a weather strip.
