Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a method of preparing an amnion-sponge chitosan composite double-layer wound dressing, and belongs to the technical field of medical dressings. The amnion-spongy chitosan composite double-layer wound dressing is prepared by combining an amnion dressing and a spongy chitosan with excellent antibacterial and swelling properties using a cross-linking method. The wound healing rate of the dressing on the 8th day of mice can reach 87.67%, and the skin thickness of mice wound tissue reached 693.9233μm. In addition, the dressing increased the concentration of hemoglobin from 72.8g/L in the amnion group to 685.39g/L, the swelling coefficient from 300% in the amnion group to 800%; and the tensile stress and nominal strain of the dressing to 1.14-2.29MPa and 6.34-6.97%. While satisfying the filling effect of deeper wounds, the dressing quickly absorbs wound exudate, prevents wound infection, maintains moist environment on the wound surface and improves wound healing.
