Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing a lithium iron phosphate nanopowder and a lithium iron phosphate nanopowder prepared by the method, the method comprising the steps of: (a) introducing a lithium precursor, an iron precursor, and a phosphorus precursor into a glycerol solvent so as to prepare a mixed solution; and (b) introducing the mixed solution into a reactor and heating same so as to synthesize a lithium iron phosphate nanopowder at a pressure of 10-100 bars. The present invention is configured such that a reaction can be conducted at a relatively low pressure in comparison with the conventional hydrothermal synthesis and supercritical water method and a lithium iron phosphate nanopowder having the particle size and particle size distribution thereof effectively controlled can easily be prepared in comparison with the conventional glycothermal method.
