Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing a Rhus verniciflua Stokes extract containing increased fisetin content, and a metastasis-inhibiting anticancer agent composition containing same, and more specifically, to: a method for preparing a Rhus verniciflua Stokes extract containing increased fisetin content, the fisetin content being increased by converting fustin, contained in Rhus verniciflua Stokes, to fisetin by adding, to a Rhus verniciflua Stokes extract solution or a Rhus verniciflua Stokes extract concentrate, and reacting at least one catalyst selected from the group consisting of platinum, chromium, nickel, silicon, copper and oxides of said metals; and a cancer-preventing or improving health functional food composition and a cancer metastasis-inhibiting anticancer pharmaceutical composition containing, as a main component thereof, the Rhus verniciflua Stokes extract containing increased fisetin content, prepared by the method. Thus, the present invention provides a very safe and efficient method and an anticancer agent composition, the method enabling the preparation of an extract providing more improved antioxidant activity and anticancer activity by increasing the amount of a main functional component of a natural extract, and thus the method and the anticancer agent composition my contribute to the health of the people in the form of a natural anticancer agent, a functional food, etc.
