Abstract:
A method for preparing silver nanowires in an aqueous medium, which comprises the following steps: (a) preparing a reaction solution: adding silver nitrate, polyvinylpyrrolidone, glucose and a nucleation sustained-release agent into deionized water to form the reaction solution, and adding the above-mentioned reaction solution into a sealed reaction kettle, wherein the nucleation sustained-release agent is chosen from an alkali metal halide or alkaline earth metal halide, alkali metal silicate or alkaline earth metal silicate, alkali metal sulphate or alkaline earth metal sulphate, alkali metal thiocyanate or alkaline earth metal thiocyanate, alkali metal oxalate or alkaline earth metal oxalate; (b) performing a hydrothermal reduction reaction: placing the sealed reaction kettle in an oven to perform a hydrothermal reaction at a temperature between 120°C and 200°C under autogenous pressure, so as to obtain a silver nanowire suspension. The method significantly enhances the concentration of silver nitrate in the initial reaction solution, and realizes the control of the length-diameter ratio of silver nanowires.
