Abstract:
Disclsoed in the present invention are a method and an apparatus for processing a picture based on an intra-prediction mode. Particularly, the method for proceeding a picture based on the intra-prediction mode, may comprise the steps of: decoding a most probable mode (MPM) flag showing whether a current block is encoded using an MPM; generating a first mode group list using prediction modes not including an MPM candidate, when the current block is not encoded using the MPM; decoding a mode group flag showing whether the prediction mode of the current block is included in the first mode group list; and determining the prediction mode of the current block using an index indicating a specific prediction mode in the first mode group list, when the prediction mode of the current block is included in the first mode group list.
