Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing an agglomerated ore by which reduced iron can be efficiently produced by hydrogen reduction without requiring preheating of raw materials and raising the temperature of reducing gas. With the method for producing an agglomerated ore, a sintering raw material including an iron-containing raw material and an agglomerate is sintered in a sintering machine to form a sintered cake, and the sintered cake is crushed to obtain an agglomerated ore, wherein a reducing gas is passed through the sintered cake on the sintering machine to reduce iron oxide contained in the sintered cake, and the reduction rate of iron oxide contained in the agglomerated ore after crushing is made 50% or more.
