Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to obtain a copper nanowire having a small diameter by a simple operation of mixing a starting material and an additive with each other. According to the present invention, a copper nanowire (1) is produced by reducing copper ions by adding a reducing agent (27) into an aqueous copper salt solution (23) that contains aromatic diamine molecules A (22), each of which has a diamine structure at the ortho position, and molecules B (24), each of which comprises two or more primary and/or secondary amino groups and has 4 or less carbon atoms in a hydrocarbon chain between the amino groups. It is particularly preferable that the aqueous copper salt solution (23) has a pH of 12 or more.
