Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for producing a cover for airtight containers, the method being capable of attaching a terminal to a cover body, while ensuring sealing properties and insulating properties. A method for producing a cover for airtight containers according to the present invention comprises: a first arrangement step in which an insulating brim part 42 is superposed on a terminal brim part 32; a first heating step in which the insulating brim part 42 superposed on the terminal brim part 32 is heated; a first bonding step in which a pair of pressure parts 55, 56 nip the terminal brim part 32 and the heated insulating brim part 42 so as to press the insulating brim part 42 against the terminal brim part 32, thereby bonding the insulating brim part 42 and the terminal brim part 32 with each other; a second arrangement step in which the insulating brim part 42 is superposed on a cover body 15; a second heating step in which the insulating brim part 42 superposed on the cover body 15 is heated; and a second bonding step in which the pair of pressure parts 55, 56 nip the cover body 15 and the heated insulating brim part 42 so as to press the insulating brim part 42 against the cover body 15, thereby bonding the insulating brim part 42 and the cover body 15 with each other.
