Abstract:
A method for producing a metallic bottomed tubular body comprising a tubular sidewall, a bottom closing one end of the sidewall, and an open portion which includes a curled portion or a flange disposed on the other end of the sidewall and in which the other end is open, the method including: annealing a sidewall open-end portion of a metal-containing bottomed tubular raw can, the open-end portion including at least some of a region where the curled portion or flange is to be formed (S4); shaping, after the annealing of the sidewall open-end portion, a region including at least some of the sidewall open-end portion to form the open portion (S6, S7); shaping the sidewall after the formation of the open portion (S8); and heating the sidewall after the shaping of the sidewall (S9).
